More than 120 computer engineering students from universities across nine countries have assembled at Amrita University to train for ACM–ICPC bootcamp, considered the world’s toughest coding contest. The students hail from countries such as Russia, Lithuania, Jordan, Oman, Japan, Singapore, Germany, the UK, Azerbaijan and India. The bootcamp has been organised in collaboration with Harbour.Space, a technology and design university in Barcelona. The faculty is provided by the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology in Russia. Anand Shenoi, Regional Contest Director, ACM ICPC, Amrita University said Amrita has been holding the event (Hello Programming Bootcamp) since 2005.
