Customs help desks will be set up in FIEO offices in Chennai, Bengaluru, Kochi, Coimbatore and Hyderabad. Help desk will also be set up at AEPC Office in Tirupur to settle IGST refund issues of exporters, which will function till August 1 and handle issues related to all ports, irrespective of the city the exporter is represented. It will also provide information related to reason for errors and how to rectify them. A Sakthivel, Regional Chairman, FIEO-SR, said the initiative would be for all sectors and requested the trade and industry to make use of the opportunity.
