Aimed at providing a Broadway experience to consumers, Disney India is bringing in its live events property.
The global brand said that it will begin its Broadway journey with live shows of the classical fairytale Beauty and Beast.
Disney also noted that besides undertaking customisation of the content to suit the local audience, the event will start its journey in Mumbai and Delhi beginning October.
“Indian families are starved of quality live events. There is a disposable income but not enough quality content. Our plan is to go all-pervasive with the format,” Siddharh Roy Kapur, MD, Disney India, said.
