The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has attached assets worth ₹10 crore belonging to Gem Cables and Conductors in a money laundering case filed by the CBI. According to a release by the ED, the company had fraudulently availed credit facilities from the erstwhile Global Trust Bank (now Oriental Bank of Commerce), in league with the top management and caused loss of about ₹10.46 crore.
