According to a release from the Tamil Nadu Foodgrains Merchants Association, Mr S.V.S.S. Velshanker, Secretary of the association, and Dr Perrys P. Mahendravel, Executive Committee member and Secretary of Tamil Nadu Bakery and Small-Scale Biscuit Industries Association, have been appointed as members of Madurai District Advisory Committee on sales tax.
