The Union Finance Minister, Mr Pranab Mukherjee, will inaugurate a two-day conference of Chief Commissioners and Directors General of Customs, Central Excise and Service Tax on Wednesday. The conference to be held here will have over 140 participants.
Four parallel sessions would be held to discuss action plan for revenue mobilisation; practical aspects of Goods and Services Tax (GST); managing innovation efficiently and IT vision for 2020; and providing two-way co-ordination fields perspective, official sources said.
