As part of its bi-decennial year celebrations, M.O.P. Vaishnav College for Women is organising a one-day management education programme on “emerging marketing strategies in a dynamic environment” on February 8.

The post-graduation department of business administration of the college is organising this national-level programme in the college auditorium. To enable students understand the newer challenges organisations face in the business environment, the theme has been structured into four areas of discussion: branding in transition economies, building virtual markets – e-commerce, and consumer behaviour – impact of information and cross-cultural management.

The programme is also expected to provide a platform for managers to interact and share their experiences in strategy building with academia and students.

Speakers at the conferences will include S.V. Divgi, Managing Director, Ferromatik Milacron India Ltd; K. Balaji, Director, Kasturi and Sons; and Samip Baruah, National Sales Manager, ITC Ltd.
