Manipal University has bagged the Golden Peacock Environment Management Award 2014. A press statement by the university said the award was presented to organisations for successfully managing environmental concerns. The university has won this award for the third consecutive year, it said. GK Prabhu, Registrar, received the award from Justice Arijit Pasayat, former Judge of Supreme Court, in New Delhi, it added.
