The office-bearers of Tamil Nadu Foodgrains Merchants Association (TFMA), under the leadership of its President Mr S.P. Jeyapragasam met Ms S.Gokula Indira , Minister for Commercial Taxes, on Monday, at Chennai and submitted a memorandum urging the Minister to hold pre-budget meeting with traders to bring in Samadhan Scheme to recover tax dues under TNGST, and continue with existing tax exemption and concession to food commodities in the Budget for the current financial year, according to a press release.
