Serial entrepreneur Raju Vanpala, who founded the free SMS service Way2SMS, has floated LearnSocial and is eyeing opportunities in the global marketplace for instructor-led online learning.
“All it takes is Internet connectivity of less than 1 mbps to access the services. We have tied up with 200 industry experts to teach the online courses. We offer 11 courses on the platform we will add another 10 courses soon,” Raju Vanpala, Chief Executive Officer of LearnSocial, said in a statement here.
Using the Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) platform, LearnSocial offers live courses in topics such as technology, languages, business management and robotics.
The start-up has a team of 50 people.
