CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) has tied up with Jain University and CMR University in Bangalore as part of this year’s expansion initiatives.
Both these universities will offer CIMA qualification for undergraduate students from July onwards. Jain University will offer CIMA qualification to its students with its three-year undergraduate B.Com honours in risk management programme, while CMR University will facilitate students to complete the CIMA qualification along side its three-year undergraduate programme in business.
Debasish Biswas, Country Head, CIMA India, said: “These tie-ups would enable students in the South to embrace global management accounting careers."
CIMA has been working closely with universities such as Christ University - Bangalore, Manipal University - Manipal, Gitam University - Vishakhapatnam, BBD University - Lucknow, Manipal University - Jaipur, Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning – Pune and Jagaran Lake City University – Bhopal to offer its management accounting qualification.
