It features a café serving a variety of global cuisine, guest rooms and lounge, apart from facilities for surfers such as shower and locker rooms. The school aims to facilitate a sustainable source of income for the village while supporting a series of social causes. The annual Covelong Point Surf and Music Festival will be held from September 18 to 20.
The school, founded and run by Murthy Megavan, a fisherman-turned-surfer, offers lessons in surfing, kayaking and windsurfing.
