The Delhi government has directed all schools in the national capital to display their report card of size 3.5 x 2.5 feet at a “prominent” place in the building.
“It is mandatory for all schools to display school report card (3.5 x 2.5 feet in size) each year at a prominent place in the school building and principals or heads of schools should also share the same with community members,” Directorate of Education (DoE) said in a communication to schools.
“The report card of each school is available in public domain on an HRD portal www.schoolreportcards.in and schools can download it using the Unified District Information System for Education (UDISE) code allotted to it,” the circular said.
According to DoE, the move will help those interested in knowing about the standards and quality of a particular institution. All District Project Officers (DPOs) have also been directed to ensure compliance of the directive.
