Indian researchers are working on cells that can store more energy, last longer
Today the educational institutions must lay stress on innovation and incubation of ideas. The institutions will have to combine innovation and incubation of ideas with research and invention, which will enable them to become centres of excellence, said Maharashtra’s Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari.
He made the comments while inaugurating the HSNC Cluster University, a PPP initiative of the Hyderabad Sind National Collegiate (HSNC) Board and the State Government through a video link on Thursday.
A press statement issued by the Governor’s Office said that Koshyari called upon all stakeholders in education to work with coordination, dedication and discipline to improve the standards of higher education. The Central government is keen on good colleges forming cluster universities as such clusters would enable the best colleges to become centres of excellence.
Stating the world is moving towards Artificial Intelligence, the Governor called upon students to also acquire the knowledge of ‘Adhyatmik Intelligence’, which according to him is the core heritage of the country. Recalling the words of Swami Vivekananda on education, the Governor said students should endeavour to awaken the divinity and perfection within them through the acquisition of knowledge.
