In a bid to promote the spirit of entrepreneurship among engineering students in Kerala, the State government today said those who have completed two years of their course can take a break for a year to pursue entrepreneurial plans.
The students can take a break of a maximum period of one year for entrepreneurial activities or for research activities, Education Minister PK Abdu Rabb said at a seminar on ‘Startup Policy and Development’
‘Residential student entrepreneur programme’ has been drawn up as in Western countries where students can earn while they learn, he said.
