The Department of School Education and Literacy, Human Resource Development Ministry, launched an open competition for designing a logo and drafting a slogan for the Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan on Wednesday.
The Centrally sponsored scheme, which attempts at making quality and affordable secondary education available for all children in the age group of 14-16 years, has been under implementation since 2009-10.
The Ministry has decided to award a prize money of Rs 1 lakh, along with a citation for the logo and slogan, for the successful entries.
