As many as 423 students, including 136 research and 11 PhD students, graduated from International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT-Hyderabad). Kris Gopalakrishnan, Executive vice president of Infosys, was the chief guest at the 17th convocation, held here on Saturday.
“During the year, the institute has launched Product Lab to transfer technologies developed at the lab to entrepreneurs or corporates,” IIIT-H Director P J Narayanan has said.
Parkhiya Parv Keshavlal, B Tech (Electronics and Communication Engineering), won the IIIT-H Gold Medal for his outstanding academic performance. Anjali Anil Shenoy received the B-Tech Best All-Rounder award.
The institute produced 350 research papers in various conferences and journals during the year.
