Companies from the cohorts of consumer technology, pharma and healthcare, social enterprises and NGOs, banking, financial services and insurance and core manufacturing made offers at the third cluster of the Indian Institute of Management - Ahmedabad (IIM-A)'s summer placements for the PGP batch of 2019.

Singapore-based financial products distributor, FinIQ, made the highest number of offers -- 10 -- in the cluster. Other major recruiters included multinational players such as Microsoft, Uber, American Express, Abbott and Vedanta Resources.

Among the banking, financial services & insurance recruiters, American Express, Axis Bank, DBS Bank, the Reserve Bank of India and RBL Bank were some of the recruiters who extended offers.

Pharma and healthcare firms such as Abbott, AstraZeneca and Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, participated actively. The Renewable Energy and Green Tech cohort saw active participation from Amplus Solar, Mytrah Energy and ReNew Power.

A total of more than 50 firms participated in this cluster.

Sprinklr was a major recruiter in the Enterprise Technology cohort. IIM Ahmedabad concluded the summer placement process 2017 within three clusters, an official statement said.

Earlier, more than 45 firms participated in Cluster 2 on November 9. Consumer goods and e-commerce firms led by HUL, Mondelez, P&G, Amazon and Flipkart made offers. Amazon made 12 offers, while Flipkart picked up eight students.

The Telangana government made five offers for the industry & commerce and ITE&C departments.

Earlier, Accenture Strategy made 19 offers in Cluster 1 of the summer placements process, which saw participation from over 35 firms.

Companies that visited campus in Cluster 1 on November 6 comprised various cohorts including investment banking and markets, management consulting, as well as private equity, venture capital and hedge funds.
