IIM Bangalore’s Supply Chain Management Centre to hold the Retail Supply Chain Conference on February 22.
One-day academia-meets-industry meet will focus on retail supply chain, leveraging analytics in supply chain and impact of e-commerce on supply chain strategies; conference targeted at industry executives in Retail, Supply Chain Management, Logistics Services, IT and Consulting sectors, and academia focused on the retail industry.

The topics to be covered during the conference include: New Retail – Opportunities & Challenges; Retail Supply Chain – Role of Emerging Technologies; Panel – Delivering Seamless Customer Experience with Omni-capable Supply Chain; Leveraging Analytics – For Retail Supply Chain Success; Warehouse Management – Current Trends; Panel – Supply Chain Challenges in the Retail Sector; e-Commerce – Impact on the Fulfilment Strategy, and Fireside Chat – Effectively Approaching the Convergence of Offline and Online Retail.
The SCMC is a major area of teaching and research at IIMB. It is a strategic multidisciplinary Centre of Excellence within IIMB dedicated to carrying out specialized theoretical and applied research on Supply Chain Management and to promote closer and enduring industry-institute collaboration. The centre brings together practitioners from leading organizations, researchers from renowned research institutes and IIMB's multi-disciplinary faculty to carry out specialized theoretical and applied research in Supply Chain Management and works towards becoming an internationally recognized centre in the field.
