The Federation of Karnataka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI), in association with the Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) and Visvesvaraya Industrial Trade Centre (VITC), will hold a half-day workshop on ‘International Trade Promotion Measures by Customs' at Hotel Atria, Palace Road, Bangalore, on Friday (March 4) at 10 a.m .
The workshop is targeted at exporters/ importers. According to Mr P. Srinivasan of FKCCI, topics to be covered are export benefits such as Duty Drawback, DEPB, EPCG, DEEC, Indian Customs Electronic Data Interchange System (ICES 1.5) and E-payment of Customs Duties and accredited Clients Programme and Risk Management System.
Mr B. Bhattacharya, Commissioner of Bangalore Customs is to take part.
