Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s (MIT) Media Lab India will conduct a design and innovation workshop here from Tuesday to Thursday. This is being done as a prelude to TechTop 2013, the annual inter-collegiate contest for engineering colleges.
P.H. Kurian, Secretary, IT, will inaugurate the three-day workshop at the Mar Baselious College of Engineering and Technology on Tuesday.
A spokesperson for organisers said the workshop series will seek to engage and inspire students, academics, and members of industry participants across all disciplines in inventing the future. It will engage participants in ideation, design, and implementation of prototypes with MIT Media Lab and local mentors.
