The 17th MMA All India Management Student’s Convention organised by the Madras Management Association (MMA) will be held on September 25 and 26 at Kamarajar Arangam in the city.

The annual event, sponsored by CavinKare and powered by The Hindu BusinessLine , provides a platform for management students to exhibit their management skills and besides offering them an opportunity to interact and learn from the industry leaders and management professionals from a diverse business sectors.

The current-year event titled ‘Emerging Management Challenges’ will see the participation of around 1,500 management students across the country, who will get key perspectives and insights on the emerging management challenges to Indian companies in the fast changing business world.

Contests

The two-day session is divided into two distinct sections — Emerging Business Challenges and Emerging People Challenges — and will have a special address on a wide range of management challenges such as as The Challenge of Competition, The Challenge of Digital, The Challenge of Customer, The Challenge of Talent and The Creativity Challenge.

The Convention will have the final rounds of contests organised for management students, including Chanakya — The Mastermind (Best Management Student of the Year), the Grand Finale of The Big Debate, Management Quiz & Presentation by Champion Teams — Winners of Business Plan and Paper Presentation Competition.

T Krishnakumar, President, Coca-Cola company — India & South West Asia Business Unit, will be the chief guest and inaugurate the event. G Raghuram, Director, IIM-Bangalore, will deliver the keynote address during the inaugural session.

Raju Venkatraman, Founder Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Medall Healthcare Pvt Ltd, will distribute the awards to the winners and deliver the valedictory address on Wednesday.
