Mar Baselios College of Engineering and Technology is conducting a ‘Next Big Idea Contest’ for colleges. This is part of its national level college fest, ‘Crossroads 2013,’ being organised from February 22 to 24. The best idea will be rewarded with prize money of Rs 15,000 and the runner-up Rs 7500.
Themes are: apps for small and medium enterprises to enhance productivity; connecting youth; and reaching the unreached.
The template pitch will be uploaded on www.crossroadsmbcet.in. Completed entries can be sent to nextbigidea2013@gmail.com by February 17. International Centre for Free and Open Source Software (ICFOSS) is supporting the contest.
