Mumbai-based NMIMS University has opened admissions for its week-end programme in Management of Family Businesses (FMBA). The registration starts from April 30 and will continue till July 10.
The one year (two semesters) programme offers weekend classes on Saturdays (full day) and Sundays (half day). The first semester is scheduled for mid-August to mid-December, and second semester will be conducted from January to April
The programme aims at inspiring the participants to act as 'change agents' for their family businesses. A limited number of participants for the programme are selected through interview by a panel of experienced faculty and family business owners.
Curriculum for the programme covers functional areas of professional management, communication skills, customer & supplier relations management, professionalising family business management. With ten hours input, every week-end FMBA programme includes class lectures, Seminars, presentations by guest speakers, outbound training, and factory visits.
