Singapore university wins ‘Quiz on Beach’

National University of Singapore won the 14th edition of ‘Quiz on the Beach’ event at Malpe beach in Udupi district on Sunday. The Manipal-based TA Pai Management Institute (TAPMI) hosted the event.

A press release from the institute said here that Shivam Bharadwaj and Rohan Naidu, representing National University of Singapore, secured the first position in the event with a prize money of ₹6 lakh.

Jyotish Kalita and Kumar Shivam, who represented Guwahati University, were the first runners-up and won ₹3 lakh. Sailesh Sriram and Nabil Silva from Manipal Institute of Technology were declared the second runners-up and took home ₹1 lakh as prize amount.

Giri Balasubramaniam of the Tata Crucible fame was the quiz master for the grand finale, it added.
