The Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJTSAU) has called for applications from students for admission to undergraduate courses in agriculture, horticulture, animal husbandry and fisheries courses in various colleges in the state.
There are 507 seats, including 75 payment seats, in the Bsc Honours course in the six colleges under the university. About 150 seats are available in two horticultural colleges in Konda Lakshman Telangana Horticultural University and 158 seats in three animal husbandry colleges under the P V Narasimha Rao Telangana Animal Husbandry University.
Admissions will be conducted based on the ranks candidates secure in the Engineering, Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) held this summer.
“The PJTSAU will conduct counselling for admissions. We appeal to candidates to contact us directly and not to fall for claims made by middlemen with regard to admissions,” a university spokesperson said.
