The new campus of Woxsen School of Business will be formally inaugurated at Sadashivpet near here on Wednesday.

"We have invested Rs 200 crore in the phase I of our campus and another Rs 300 crore will be invested in next two to three years,’’ Praveen Pula, founder-investor of the school, told newspersons at a press conference here today.

Praveen Pula is a UK-based entrepreneur and educationist.

Woxsen is currently running its second batch in one-year executive and two-year post graduate diploma programmes with a combined strength of 100 students.

M R Rao, Provost of the school, said efforts were on to obtain international accreditation to the school which already had approval from the All India Council for Technical Education.

The school has a large number of visiting faculty from across the globe, he said, adding that research and publications were being encouraged for the permanent teachers.

According to Vishnuprasad Nagadevara, Dean of Woxsen, the school is also focussing on promoting entrepreneurial spirit among the students with an in-house incubator called 'trade tower’. "`We are helping our students to validate their ideas,’’ he added.

Plans are also afoot to launch new programmes in executive education. For the two-year programme, Woxsen charges about Rs 17 lakh fee and uses GMAT and CAT scores to offer admissions.
