Urmila Matondkar, Congress candidate from Mumbai North constituency, has alleged discrepancies in Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) at Magathane polling station and has lodged a complaint with the Election Commission of India (ECI).
"On the form of EVM 17C from Magathane, the signatures and the machine numbers are different. A complaint has been filed with the EC," Matondkar tweeted.
Matondkar, contesting against BJP’s Gopal Shetty was trailing in Mumbai North.
Earlier in an interview with BusinessLine , Matondkar, making her political debut, said there was an urgent need to bring water and electricity to homes in North Mumbai.
