Titan Company Ltd plans re-launch of select Fastrack stores with service facilities in order to make things easier for its watch customers.

The company re-launched a Fastrack store in Chennai with a service centre on Tuesday.

The store, which is spread over 1,000 sq ft and its largest by revenues, also displays Fastrack store exclusive watch collections, priced in the range of ₹2,000-4,000.

“This is the first Fastrack store in the country to house a service facility – Fastrack care.

“Earlier, Fastrack customers had to go to World of Titan for any service requirements. We will relaunch more such Fastrack stores with service centres wherever space is available,” said S Ravi Kant, CEO – Watches and Accessories, Titan Company Ltd.

New retail identity

The relaunch also marks the brand’s new retail identity that seeks to meet the changing needs of the youth.

Apart from watches, the store will also display Fastrack accessories such as sunglasses, bags, belts and wallets.

“Our accessories have also been seeing a good growth and about 25 per cent of store’s revenue comes from accessories,” said Kant.

He said that the company’s watch business was returning to growth curve after a decline phase in the past and Fastrack brand was growing strongly.

“Our smart watch brand Reflex has also gained traction and we have plans to grow this business with more new launches during this year,” he added.

The company has about 170 Fastrack stores and will look at increasing the number based on the demand.

In FY18, Titan’s watch business grew by about four per cent at ₹2,126 crore.
