The State government has inked a pact with Federal Bank to receive payments to government departments through Federal Bank’s payment gateway.
The bank has set up online payment gateway for making remittances of various fees to the departments under the State government. State Finance Minister Thomas Isaac launched the facility at an event in Thiruvananthapuram on Friday.
It enables customers and non-customers of Federal Bank to make payment of fee and other dues to 43 government departments using their debit or credit cards.
