The 37th edition of FISITA World Automotive Congress, hosted by SAE India, will kick off at the Chennai Trade Centre on October 2. The four-day biennial event since its inception in 1947 is happening for the first time in India. With the theme of Disruptive Technologies for Affordable and Sustainable Mobility, the event will help the participants from across the globe in not only exchanging ideas but also brainstorm on the challenges and changes that these new trends offer. There will be five plenary sessions on connected, electric, autonomous and shared mobility, according to a statement.
