Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive in Singapore for his 36-hour visit to the city-state where he is to attend a series of summits, including the East Asian summit and ASEAN meetings. He will speak at the Fintech Festival which has the largest gathering of global Fintech companies and delegates ranging from the industry leaders to smaller start-ups. Modi will launch APIX, a banking technology designed to reach two billion people worldwide, who are still without bank accounts.  The prime minister will also hold a bilateral meeting with US Vice President Mike Pence.

The pilgrimage circuit will get a new train today. The Railways is set to launch the Ramayana Express. It will have two travel segments—one each in India and Sri Lanka. Starting in Delhi, the train will cover important places in the Ramayana circuit from Ayodhya, to Nandigram, to Sitamarhi, to Rameswaram. The India leg of the tour is priced at Rs 15,120 per person. The Sri Lanka tour, priced at Rs 36,970 per person, will cover Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Colombo and Negombo.

Vodafone Idea will announce its quarterly results, the first after Vodafone and Idea completed their merged in August. The combined entity  has a subscriber base of over 400 million and displaced Airtel as India's largest telecom service provider. 

Heavy-lift rocket Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV-Mk III) is set to put into orbit the communication satellite GSAT-29 from ISRO's Satish DhawanSpace Centre at Sriharikota. GSAT-29 is a communication satellite weighing about 3,423 kg, and is designed for a mission life of 10 years. The satellite carries Ka/Ku-band high throughput communication transponders intended to meet the communication requirements of users, including those in remote areas. Several new technologies such as Q/V-band payload, data transmission through optical communication link too will be demonstrated. The launch is subject to weather conditions as cyclone Gaja is expected to cross the Tamil Nadu coast on November 15.

Royal Enfield will launch Continental GT 650 and the Interceptor INT 650 in India today. The new engine twin-cylinder offerings were first launched in the US earlier this year. The first bikes from Royal Enfield to be designed and developed for global markets, the models are produced at the company’s Oragadam plant in Chennai. In the US, the range starts at $5,799. India pricing will be known today.
