Infosys will declare its second quarter earnings today. IT companies are expected to post good results on the back of a weak rupee. TCS last week posted an over 22 per cent rise in in Q2 profit. Hero MotoCorp and IndusInd Bank will also declare their quarterly results. 

Bahujan Samaj Party supremo Mayawati has convened a meeting of the party’s State leaders in New Delhi. The meeting comes close on the heels of the resignation of BSP’s lone member of the JD(S)-Congress coalition ministry N. Mahesh last week. Mahesh quit as Minister for Primary and Secondary Education. Today's meeting in New Delhi is expected to discuss strategies for strengthening the BSP in Karnataka ahead of the coming Lok Sabha polls.

Starting today Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijaya will address a series of public meetings to explain the government's stance on the Sabarimala Supreme Court verdict.  The CPI(M)-led LDF government has said the BJP and the UDF were using believers for their vested interests.  The Travancore Devaswom Board has called a meeting of various stakeholders of the shrine including the Tantri (head priest) family, Pandalam royals and Ayyappa Seva Sangam. The meeting is expected to discuss the Supreme Court order that allows women of all age groups to enter the Sabarimala shrine.

Tuesday will see a slew of phone launches. Huawei will launch its flagships Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro in London. The same day, the Chinese smartphone maker's sub-brand Honor will launch its 8X phone in India. And, Lenovo too is launching a smartphone in the country. 

Isuzu will launch the updated MU-X SUV in India today. The SUV is likely to retail at about Rs 25 lakh. Isuzu's India range includes D-MAX V-Cross, premium seven seater SUV ‘mu-X’ and variants of D-MAX pick ups.
