The Opposition and non-BJP parties will participate in ‘Save Constitution’ march in Mumbai. NCP leader Sharad Pawar will lead the rally at the Gateway of India. The rally organisers the march seeks to protect the nation’s Constitution in the wake of the recent Supreme Court crisis.

Actor Kamal Haasan who recently plunged into politics will start a Tamil Nadu tour from today to meet people. The actor is also likely to launch his Maiyam Whistle app. Haasan entered politics after criticising the Palaniswami government over bad governance.

Karnataka goverment is likely to unveil public wifi hotspots in Bengaluru today. The city will have around 5,000 hotspots and the first 30 minutes will be for free. State IT Minister Priyank Kharge said the government plans to roll out the service before the Assembly Elections.

The testing of the panic button in smartphones will begin today. The pilot project will test the feature on smartphones to ensure women safety and will kickstart from Uttar Pradesh. In 2016, DoT had issued an order for mobile manufacturers to provide the panic button in the form of a numeric key in cell phones by January 2017.
