Aster DM Healthcare will open for initial public offering today. The company has raised Rs 294 cr from the anchor investors ahead of its IPO. The price band for the offer is Rs 180-190 per scrip. The issue will close on February 15.

The quarterly results of Britannia, Bank of India and GAIL will be announced today. The Q3 results are expected to influence the stocks which saw a volatile trade last week.

The Industrial Production data for December 2017 will be out today. In November 2017, the IIP rose 8.4 per cent from October’s 2.2 per cent rise. The Consumer Price Index (CPI) for January 2018 will also be released today.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be interacting with the businessmen of Oman to develop stronger economic and business links with India on the last day of his West Asia tour. Around 9 million Indians live and work in the Gulf region. On Sunday, PM Modi met the Indian diaspora in Dubai and witnessed the laying of foundation of the first Hindu temple in Abu Dhabi.

Supreme Court will hear the plea of Lt Col Karamveer Singh seeking to quash the FIR filed against his son Major Aditya Kumar in the Shopian firing incident today. The case relates to the death of three civilians in the alleged Army firing in Shopian in January.
