Asus will launch ZenFone Max Pro, the mid-end smartphone, in India on April 23. This will be the first smartphone from Asus to be made available on Flipkart under a new long-term strategic partnership that the two players have signed. From now on, Flipkart will be the exclusive partner for Asus smartphones in India. The partnership will also cover sales and marketing for Asus’ upcoming smartphones.

Infosys will hold an analysts’ meet between 4 pm and 7.30 pm at Hotel Taj Lands End, Bandra, Mumbai on Monday where the Bengaluru-based outsourcing giant is expected to unveil its new strategy. The proceedings of the meet will be webcast live on the company’s website along with the presentations made at the event and transcripts of discussions.

The next h earing in Binani Cement case will be heard on Monday. On Friday, the Kolkata Bench of the National Company Law Tribunal had passed an interim order asking the Resolution Professional of Binani Cement to continue taking care of the management of the company “until further order’’.  The 270-days moratorium period for Binani Cement ended on April 21.

Congress president Rahul Gandhi will on Monday launch his party’s nationwide ‘save the constitution’ campaign, aimed at highlighting the alleged attacks on the Constitution and the Dalit community. The Congress’ present and former Dalit lawmakers, those holding offices in zilla parishad, civic bodies and panchayat samitis, will take part in the launch event, aimed at sensitising the attendees on the current state of affairs with regard to the community.

Opposition parties led by the DMK will organise a human chain in all district headquarters on April 23 to press the Centre to form the Cauvery Management Board. A resolution adopted in the all-party meeting held at the Anna Arivalayam also recalled the final award of the Cauvery Tribunal that stated “the decision of the Tribunal, after its publication in the Official Gazette by the Central government, shall have the same force as an order or decree of the Supreme Court.”
