The Fortis Board to hold an Extraordinary General Meeting today to decide on the acquisition deal. YES Bank, the largest stakeholder of the Fortis Healthcare, will vote to finalise the deal. The board members had earlier approved the Munjal-Burman bid but are accused of poor governance standards.

DMK has called for an all-party meeting chaired by M K Stalin on the Cauvery issue. The meeting will discuss on the next action to be taken for release of the water.
