Reliance Industries is all set to announce its Q2 results today. Boards of Hathway and DEN Networks will also be meeting today to discuss on the proposal for raising funds. RIL eyes controlling stake in the two companies to boost its high-speed broadband network. According to media reports, RIL is set to acquire more than 25 per cent take in Hathway and DEN.

Sabarimala Ayyappan temple will open today for the monthly pooja. Tension mounts in the region as it will open for the first time after the Supreme Court verdict allowing women of all age to enter the holy hill. The SC order saw protests from various Hindu organisations and ‘Save Sabarimala’ campaign was held in Kerala. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan informed that no one will be banned from entering the temple or hill today.
