Delhi High Court to hear Union Minister M J Akbar’s defamation case against journalist Priya Ramani today. The senior journalist has levelled sexual harassment allegations against him. Akbar has also been accused by other women journalists of sexual assault who had worked under his leadership at various publications.

British Prime Minister Theresa May and the European Union leaders of 28 nations will meet today in Brussels to discuss the Brexit deal. On Wednesday, the EU leaders met for a working dinner to review the state of negotiations. The outcome of today’s meeting will decide on the need for another summit in November.

Vice president Venkaiah Naidu will leave for Brussels today to participate in the 12 edition of ASEM summit. The bi-annual meet will discuss issues related to investment, trade, climate change, cyber space, security and tourism. Notably, this will be Naidu’s first mulilateral summit after assuming charge in 2017. The ASEM summit aims to bridge countries from Asia and Europe.

Nissan is all set to unveil its India-specific SUV Kicks today. Though the design for the India-specific model will remain similar to the global models, it will come in a five-seat layout and an 8 inch infotainment system. Expected to be released in January 2019, it will compete with Hyundai Creta in the market.

Lenovo to launch S5 Pro today in China. It is expected to come with four cameras – two in front and two on rear. It is likely to compete with Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite in the market.
