Five things to watch out for today

In the run-up to the 125th birth anniversary of BR Ambedkar, Congress party vice-president Rahul Gandhi will chair a Dalit conclave in Lucknow today. The conclave will be a gathering of sitting and former elected scheduled caste and scheduled tribe representatives of the Congress in local bodies, the State assembly, and in parliament.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is to visit Madhya Pradesh today. He is to launch a crop insurance scheme during the visit. Farmers from the State will also felicitate him for the Centre’s farmer-friendly initiatives.

The fourth HOG (Harley-Davidson Owners’ Group) India rally organised by Harley-Davidson India will be held in Goa today. The event will continue during the India Bike Week on February 19-20 at Vagatore beach where Harley-Davidson India will present a special display of 2016 motorcycles and curate an exciting line-up of activities.

The Delhi High Court will hear today Congress leader Ajay Maken’s plea against amedia blitz launched by the AAP government on completion of one year in power. The plea will be heard along with the main case that will come up for hearing today.

The 23rd edition of Art-in-Industry camp which will commence on February 18 and conclude on February 21 will feature prominent artists such as RB Bhaskaran, G Subramanian, Ramesh P Gujar, Gouri Vemula and several others. Three artists from Jharkhand will also feature in the art camp.
