The Supreme Court will continue hearing the call-drop case today, in an appeal by telecom operators against a Delhi High Court order over compensation for call drops. The HC had upheld TRAI’s decision for a compensation of ₹1 for call drops. The apex court also asked telcos to make sure call drop rates had not exceeded the 2 per cent threshold.
