The Centre is “actively considering” raising the annual cap on supply of subsidised domestic gas cylinders, the Union Minister of state for Petroleum and Natural Gas, Panabaka Lakshmi said today.
“The Government was actively considering to increase the ceiling limit of the cooking gas cylinders to domestic consumers on the demand raised by Opposition parties and several organisations in this regard. The government will take a decision after reviewing the issue,” Panabaka said on the sidelines of an event here.
The Minister released books authored by an economics professor in Andhra University today.
