Japanese chocolate brand Royce has been launched in Pune, making this the seventh outlet in the country.
Burgundy Hospitality, which has brought Royce into India, plans to open three more stores in India during the year.
Amongst Royce’s signature products are the Nama range, a truffle like ganache, made from fresh cream from farms near Hokkaido. Every box of Nama is packed in a thermal bag along with a frozen cooling gel to ensure the chocolate does not melt.
Royce Prafeuille Chocolate range is inspired by French pastry Mille-feuille, while the Criollo range contains cacao from beans sourced from South Venezuela, Samir Gadhok, founder of Burgundy Hospitality, said.
Royce stores are currently present in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru and plans to enter Chennai during 2016.
