Karnataka Vikas Grameena Bank (KVGB), a regional rural bank (RRB) sponsored by Syndicate Bank, has bagged the ‘best performing RRB’ award for Atal Pension Yojana (APY) enrollment from Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA). A press release by the bank said here on Monday that S Ravindran, Chairman of the bank, received the award from PFRDA in Bengaluru on Monday. It said that KVGB is playing a pivotal role in implementing all the three social security schemes launched by Central government. The bank enrolled 3,563 APY accounts during the campaign period between February 23 and March 3, it said.
