Netmeds Marketplace Ltd, a Chennai-based online pharmacy, has roped in cricketer MS Dhoni as its brand ambassador. “Dhoni is a perfect inspiration for Netmeds. He rose from humble beginnings, and fought against tough odds, but through hard work and self belief and rose to a position of prominence and became a name whose aura resonates through every household in India,” Netmeds CEO Pradeep Dadha said in a press release. Making important medicines available and affordable is a great thing for India, and Netmeds is one of the mainstays in the space, Dhoni said in the release.
