The three-day Nasscom's annual flagship event India Leadership Forum will begin here on Monday.

Simultaneously, Nasscom is hosting WCIT (the World Congress of Information Technology), which is happening for the first time in India.

The Nasscom forum will come out with its outlook for the financial year 2018-19. The association, which deferred its announcement for a few months owing to global uncertainties, will go ahead with its annual practice.

During the conference, the Nasscom's SkillsNext platform will sign an agreement with the Union Government for skill development initiatives.

Growth forecast

Sources said the growth rate will continue to be in single-digit in the next financial year as there has been no major change in the business outlook globally. The export growth forecast for 2017-18 was pegged at 7-8 per cent. The domestic revenues were estimated at 10-11 per cent. The top brass of Nasscom will hold a meeting on the sidelines of NILF to discuss and finalise the strategic review for the industry for 2018-19 and the final tally of 2017-18 growth numbers. The numbers will be announced on February 20.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickremsinghe, who were originally scheduled to address the WCIT-NILF conference, are not likely to attend. Narendra Modi, however, will address the gathering through video conference.
