There is no room for any speculation or controversy over the allotment of land to various industrial and government projects coming up in Visakhapatnam district as the laid-down procedure is being adhered to in all respects, said Visakhapatnam district Collector N Yuvaraj.
He told reporters here on Thursday that 39,000 acres of government land was earmarked for different projects and due process was being followed in all the cases.
All efforts are being made to protect government landholdings and prompt action is being taken against encroachers, he said.
With the aim of bringing in transparency in land records, the administration has proposed to put up all its records in the public domain. Soon, the government records on landholdings will be available on the internet, he said.
