The AAP on Wednesday announced the “faceless and anonymous” safai karamchari (sanitation worker) as the 10{+t}{+h} brand ambassador of the Clean India campaign, launched on October 2.
Taking a dig at the PM, the AAP said he had announced the names of nine celebrities as ambassadors — which will lead to enthusiasm and increase awareness on the issue — but forgot to mention the most important person in the list, the safai karamchari. “We are naming this anonymous safai karamchari as the brand ambassador,” the party said in a release.
