Kameshwari Subramanian has assumed charge as the Chief Commissioner of Central Excise, Customs and Service Tax, Bangalore Zone. She also has additional charge of Mysore zone. A native of Mysore, Subramanian graduated from the University of Mysore and is a 1980 batch Indian Revenue Service officer. She has held various posts under the Central Board of Excise and Customs. She was Chief Commissioner of Central Excise and Service Tax in Kolkata Zone, prior to her transfer to Bangalore.
