All the banks put together disbursed more credit than targeted in West Bengal for medium and small enterprise sector in 2013-14.
At a State Level Bankers’ Committee meeting recently, it was revealed banks achieved 135 per cent under the annual credit plan, United Bank of India, SLBC convenor in the State, said in statement. The banks in credit linkage of the self-help groups last fiscal had a total credit outlay of Rs 926 crore in the State.
